This complete system includes the swim tunnel and everything needed for automated measurements of oxygen consumption rates and control of water velocity. Flow measuring equipment and accessories for water temperature regulation (excl. heater/chiller) is also included.
This system includes a swim tunnel and everything needed for automated water velocity control and calibration.
Applications include Ucrit tests, swimming behavior, forced exercise, swimming kinematics, and other experiments requiring accurate and computerized control of activity level/swimming speed.
This system combines three devices and user-friendly software for automated measurements of complete step-wise oxygen equilibration curves of respiratory pigments and precise pH sampling over a broad range of temperatures and gas mixtures. Determine P50 values and Hill coefficients in undiluted blood, hemolysate or purified pigments, e.g., myoglobin, hemoglobin, hemocyanin, hemerythrin, leghemoglobin etc.
The PC software interface allows for fully automated measurements, data acquisition and analysis making it easy to run multiple samples with minimum effort and time-consumption.
This system measures individual respiration in real-time in tiny organisms like zebrafish embryos, Daphnia, fish/invert eggs or larvae, Drosophila etc., based on a 24-channel optical fluorescence oxygen reading device. Individual organisms are placed inside gas-tight 80-1700 µl glass chambers on a 24-well microplate footprint for real-time oxygen consumption rate measurements. Each chamber is fitted with a non-invasive and re-usable oxygen sensor spot that can be re-calibrated and sterilized for multiple trials. The microplate and reader are placed inside an incubator for temperature control, or use an optional flow-through water bath and refrigerated circulator. A soft silicone gasket with a thin liner (e.g., PCR film) is placed on top of the microplate to seal the 24 chambers in one go.
Upgrade this system with up to nine add-on systems each including an extra reader and plate, i.e., for measuring respiration in 240 organisms simultaneously.
This add-on system will upgrade your (complete) microplate system with an additional 24. It includes everything needed for microplate respiration measurements including an extra reader that is simply daisy-chained to the first reader. Add up to nine extra readers in this way for simultaneous measurements in up to 240 chambers/wells from a single PC.
This automated system for preference/avoidance measurements in aquatic invertebrates or fish, includes everything needed for video behavior analysis, data acquisition and digital control of experimental devices.
Inside an experimental tank the animal can freely "shuttle" between two sub compartments with opposite acting controls. Or you can set up two different (constant) levels in the two tank compartments independent of fish behavior for exposure/avoidance/choice tests.
This complete system includes up to eight horizontal mini chambers of customized length, and everything needed for fully automated oxygen consumption rate measurements, device control, data analysis and regulation of water temperature, e.g. computerized intermittent respirometry.
Use this turnkey system with aquatic invertebrates or fish matching our mini chambers.
This complete system includes up to eight medium chambers of customized length, and everything needed for fully automated oxygen consumption rate measurements, device control, data analysis and regulation of water temperature, e.g. computerized intermittent respirometry.
Use this turnkey system with aquatic invertebrates or fish matching our medium chambers.
Monitor, log and control oxygen and temperature in up to 24 independent tanks from a single computer with wireless Bluetooth communication. Fiber optic oxygen sensing technology in combination with a high-precision temperature and real-time compensation, offers unbeaten accuracy and stability of oxygen data as well as zero sensor maintenance. The user-friendly WitroxCTRL software makes it easy to calibrate, change measuring units, and set up automated protocols for changes in oxygen and temperature in steps or in a sinusoid manner (e.g. to mimic natural fluctuations like diurnal changes in oxygen saturation or temperature). The systems comes with all the necessary hardware and software, except for a Windows PC.
Monitor, log and control pH and pCO2 with this turnkey system in fish tank(s) or aquarium(s). The user-friendly CapCTRL software for Windows makes it easy to calibrate in any CO2 unit, to change setpoint values on-the-fly, or ramp water quality in steps (up or down) automatically.
