General:
The Microx TX3 instrument is a precise single channel, temperature compensated oxygen meter with fiber-optic oxygen micro sensors. The system detects oxygen (the oxygen partial pressure) in both solutions (dissolved oxygen) as well as in the gaseous phase. The small instrument with its low power consumption and robust casing makes it suitable for a range of indoor and outdoor applications. For operation a PC/Notebook is required.
Microx TX3 is used for sensor coatings type PSt3 (detection limit 15 ppb, 0 - 100 % oxygen).
Features:
Measurement of oxygen in %os, %as, Torr, hPa, mg/l or mmol
Diameter of the micro-sensor tip is < 50 µm
Excellent long-term stability
No oxygen consumption during experiment
Wide variety of sensor housings available
Fast response time better than 1 s
Micro-sensor precise oxygen meter
Measures oxygen in both liquids and the gas phase
Oxygen measurement range 0 - 50% air oxygen
On-line temperature-compensation of the oxygen content
Immune to electrical and magnetic interference
Oxygen sensing based on luminescence lifetime detection (luminescence indicator dye)
RS232 interface allows to connect several Microx TX instruments to create multi-instrument set-up
2 x 12bit, programmable analog outputs and 1 x external trigger input
Small size robust housing and 12VDC power makes it ideal for portable and field use
The system is controlled by a comfortable user-friendly software
